When we listen a work ‘Deserts’, the first thing which comes in the mind is a place without plants and human. Deserts can be said as a dry place with sand dunes for miles and miles with a scorching sun burning the sand. One interesting fact about desert is that it is spreaded over 1/5th part of the world’s land surface. It is the area where the average rainfall is less than 250mm of rain per year. Sometimes the annual rainfall is noted to 20mm which leads to intense dryness for long years. One of the famous deserts in North Africa is Sahara Desert. This desert is the hottest place in the world with temperature of 58 C in the shade where as in the night temperature goes very low below the freezing point (YPTE, n.d.).
